This weeks blog post is all about budget buys and getting good quality makeup products without breaking the bank.
Let’s be honest who doesn’t love an absolute bargain especially when the product is amazing.
1. Rimmel Fresher Skin Foundation
Lately I have been finding myself stray away from the heavy full face foundation. I feel like we need to embrace a more natural makeup look. With that said I have been using the new Rimmel Fresher Skin Foundation in the shade ivory since it launched.
This foundation is a lightweight, breathable and matte finish foundation.
It’s a lightweight cream consistency, allowing the skin to feel covered not clogged.
For just over €10 I absolutely love this foundation and definitely think it would suit most Skin types weather your dry, oily or combination.
2. Dealz Makeup Gallery Bronzer
I had seen a couple of other blogger mention the Makeup Gallery range available from Dealz and really thought nothing of it to be honest. Untill I popped into to my local Dealz and had a little look.
I picked up two bits one being the Bronzer. At first glance it reminded me of Mac Give me sun, but I didn’t behave high hopes to be honest.
When I got home I was keen to see if my Mac judgement was right and began trying the products and I couldn’t have found a better dupe they are exactly the same. Since purchasing the Bronzer I haven’t stopped using it.
I use it to contour , bronze and lastly as a transition colour on my eyes. The texture of the powder is so soft and colour pay off is amazing for only €1.49!!
3. Dealz Makeup Gallery Eyeliner
My second purchase was also from Dealz and it was the Makeup Gallery Eyeliner in Black.
This little gem is a definite goldmine. It’s small precision applicator allows for the easiest application. When it comes to eyeliner…. it’s my worst nightmare , but this little beauty is heaven to apply.
4.Pennys P.S Pro Translucent Powder
When Pennys (primark) announced they where launching their Pro range I was very excited. As you all know I am a huge fan of the Penneys beauty range already and was very excited to try the Pro range.
By the time I got in to my local Pennys most of the products where sold out. So I Managed to pick up two bits.
First thing I got was the Pro Translucent Powder. When it comes to powder I’m very fusy as I don’t like powder containing silica as this will give you a flashback on a picture. Making you appear ghostly in your pictures.
I absolutely adore my Laura Mercier powder but at €40 it’s so pricey. But with that said the Pennys one is just if not as good for just €4 and one iv stocked up on.
5.Pennys P.S Pro lluminating Primer
Lastly for the Pennys Ps Pro range I picked up the Pro Illuminating primer. I never apply my makeup without a primer. A primer will always act a base for my foundation allowing for a smoother application of foundation.
I picked up the illuminating primer as I love a nice dewy finished look.
This little gem is €4 and can be worn alone, under foundation or mixed with foundation to give you that nice healthy glow.
I hope you enjoyed this post.
Untill Next time.
