The Aimee Connolly for AYU Brush set!!

So I canot remember the last time I wrote a makeup brush blog post. Todays post is going to be all about the Aimee Connolly for AYU , The Essentials brush set.
Aimee Connolly and AYU have teamed up to create ‘The Essentials makeup brush set’. They have been designing and planning this brush set over the last two years. The set includes 5 makeup brushes Aimee cannot live without. The Buffer, The Setter , The Blender , The Taperer and The Angle Liner.
Designed with Aimee’s favourite colours black and rose gold. Each brush hand cut. The set comes in a beautiful black leather case including a mirror. Onto the brushes themselves now. For the purpose of this post , I have been using the brush set over the last month. Testing and trailing on a range of different products. I have also been washing them once a week with baby shampoo.
The Buffer: This is the softest foundation brush that will ever grace your face! I use this to Buff my liquid, cream or mineral foundation on. It gives the most flawless coverage on the skin and disperses the product so evenly. I use a stipple motion by pressing the brush into the face. I find my nose sometimes hard to cover and this brush literally does wonder for my coverage.
The Setter: A multipurpose angled brush is perfect for powdering the face after foundation. I would also double up with this to bronze, apply blusher and highlighter. I also find this amazing for applying foundation.
The Blender: This hand down has to be my favourite eye blender I have used to date. It’s so gentle on the eye, yet perfectly tapered to get right into the socket and across the brow bone, giving you the perfect blend. This is also perfect for apply a more detailed highlighter.
The Taperer: This white tapered eye brush is perfectly cut to fit neatly into your crease. Its super soft and is also flat enough to pack some shadow onto the lid or blend out the lower lash liner. I also use this brush to pat on my concealer to give a fuller coverage.
The Angle: I don’t think any make up bag is complete without an angle brush. Wether its to define your brows or to create the perfect liner. This brush is soft but holds its shape , giving you amazing control.
The Wallet: Keep your brushes safe or travel with them in style! This chic black and rose gold wallet is fitted with a mirror and some extra space to pack away some of your must have top up products. Totally handbag friendly!I love this idea.
I hands down love this brush set , it definitely is the essentials you all need. Multipurpose brushes to cater for all. The quality of the brushes is second to none and you can really feel this when using them. The wash so well and hold their shape. The set is €55 inc free delivery.
